So…the food was amazing but what made this experience the best was the employees. They were so kind so friendly and so happy. This was on the 4th of July….who is happy working on a holiday!? They were! I was absolutely amazed at the wonderful customer service, friendly atmosphere, and to make it perfect…..wonderful affordable food! Highly Recommend. Well done Ranch House….well done!

We were passing thru on our way to Reno and found this cute little place. What a wonderful place to eat! It’s a cute little rustic restaurant/bar that serves delicious sandwiches, excellent service, and the ranch dressing is awesome!!! Of course, they’re called The Ranch House. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area of Chester, CA.

Our favorite family spot to eat in town! The mac and cheese bites, sidewinders, tri tip grilled cheese sandwich (try adding bacon!), chokersetter sandwich and SO many more are hard to resist. They have also recently remodeled, expanding the space for families to enjoy a great meal and a fun time. Lots of room out back, horseshoe pits, and shady gazebos for a longer linger.

We randomly stopped in for a late lunch one day while staying in town and I'm glad we did. Our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and the playlist was excellent! I would definitely eat here again if we are ever in town.

We stopped here with another couple while visiting Lassen NP. Food was excellent and the staff was so friendly! We liked so much we came again the next night before we moved on. Really great people and food.

Great restaurant and bar. Very family friendly during food service hours. The area out back is great for kids to play and parent to relax. I see reviews about allowing kids at a bar, however this is an awesome restaurant that will turn into a bar after the kitchen closes. I haven’t had a bad meal or bad service at all.
